Season Finale: The Passion

Half of Mark's Gospel is dedicated to the Last Week of Jesus's life. Following the events of chapters 11-12 in the Temple, the plot to kill Jesus by his enemies is in full swing. Mark has built most of his momentum behind Jesus' ministry up until this point, showing us the support he has from the people as well as the type of controversy he can stir. The popularity of Jesus is dangerous to those in power.

The question: how will this story end? Will Jesus act on this power? Will his enemies win?
